Choose the best School for your child

If you have already selected the best school for your child then move on to the next section. If you haven’t selected a school yet then here is how you can choose it.

Step 1: Visit the Dallas ISD School Finder page, here is the link https://dallasisd.schoolmint.net/school-finder/home

Step 2: You can easily find the nearest neighbourhood school by entering your address and select the grade. Click on “Find” after entering the address and grade. You will see the neighbourhood school based on the address you have entered so ensure to enter the correct address only.

Around 233 schools are a part of the Dallas Independent School District. Enter your address and grade to find out the nearest neighbourhood schools.

Documents Required for Enrolment

It’s important to gather all the required documents so you won’t have a look for them while filling the enrolment form. Here is a list of docuents that are required for returning students and for those who are new to school district.

For Returning Students

• Parents or guardians must upload a copy of their Photo ID.

For New Students

Here is a list of documents that are required for the enrolment of new students:

• the photo ID of a parent or guardian
• the birth certificate of student
• required immunization records
• proof of address

The acceptable documents for the “Proof of Address” are current gas, water, or electricity bill, or a lease agreement/mortgage statement.

Parents or guardians who are initiating the enrolment process are advised to gather all the required documents in advance so you can upload them as required.
